Missing Notation Packs
If the original diagram used notation packs not available in Diagrammix3:
- Generic shapes replace missing symbols

Migration Tips
Before Starting
- Make backup copies of legacy files
- Note which notation packs your diagrams use
- Have the original application available for reference if needed
Common Issues
Shapes appear as rectangles
- Missing notation pack; manually replace with equivalent shapes
Connectors disconnected
- Re-attach to connection points on shapes
Fonts look different
- Original font may not be installed; choose a replacement
Colors slightly off
- Color profiles may differ; adjust in Inspector
Preserving Original Files
Legacy import creates a new document and does not modify the original file. Keep your legacy files as backup until you've verified the import is complete.
