Interface Overview
Diagrammix3's interface is designed to be intuitive and efficient.
The Canvas
The central area is the Canvas, where you draw your diagram. It provides an infinite scrolling workspace.

Toolbar
The Toolbar at the top of the window gives you quick access to commonly used tools:
- Select Tool: For selecting and moving items.
- Text Tool: For adding text labels.
- Connector Tool: For drawing lines between shapes.
- Shape Tools: Rectangles, Ellipses, and more.
Inspector Panel
On the right side is the Inspector Panel. This context-aware panel shows properties for the currently selected item.

Library
The Library usually appears on the left or via a popover, containing predefined shapes and notations you can drag onto the canvas.
Rulers
Rulers provide measurement references along the top and left edges of the canvas.
Showing/Hiding Rulers
Toggle ruler visibility:
- View → Show Rulers
Ruler Features
- Displays measurements in the current unit (points, pixels, inches, etc.)
- Guide lines show current cursor position
- Click and drag from the ruler to create guide lines
- Double-click the ruler intersection to change units
Measurement Units
Available units include:
- Points (pt)
- Pixels (px)
- Inches (in)
- Centimeters (cm)
- Millimeters (mm)

Undo & Redo
Diagrammix3 provides unlimited undo and redo history for your editing session.
- Undo: Press ⌘Z to step back through your changes
- Redo: Press ⌘⇧Z to reapply undone changes
- You can also use Edit → Undo and Edit → Redo from the menu bar
- The undo history is available for the entire session until you close the document
Recent Documents
Quickly access documents you've worked on recently.
Opening Recent Documents
- File → Open Recent shows your recently opened files
- Click any file to open it
- The list shows the most recent files at the top
Clearing Recent Documents
- File → Open Recent → Clear Menu removes all recent document entries
Recent Documents on Launch
When opening Diagrammix3:
- The Welcome window may show recent documents
- Click a document thumbnail to open it directly
- Or choose "New Document" to start fresh
